COVID-19 Information for Graceville Physio

Covid 19 – Notification for clients

Our priority is the safety and wellbeing of our staff, patients and community as Queensland opens its borders to interstate and overseas travellers. We want to ensure that all of our clients attending our clinic know they are safe, in particular our elderly and vulnerable clients.

What you need to consider before attending Graceville Physio from Friday 17th December 2021.

From Friday 17th December, we will require you to show proof of your vaccination status* prior to treatment or if attending a class here at Graceville Physio. This can be done at Reception on arrival via the QLD QR check in app, a digital certificate or by showing a printed copy of your vaccination record.

*Please note we do not keep a copy of your vaccination status so you will need to present this information at each visit.

For unvaccinated clients we are happy to help you if you are symptom free, can provide confirmation of a negative covid test up to 48 hours prior to your appointment and wear a mask while at the clinic.  We have a designated room and times for these appointments.

We also continue to offer Telehealth consultations if you are unable to attend the clinic.

Health measures will continue to apply in the clinic including …

For vaccinated clients …

  • Patients are encouraged to arrive on time (and not early) to their appointment.
  • We are also asking that each patient arrives on their own unless under special circumstances, such as mums and bubs, or if in need of a carer.
  • Patients will need to wear masks on entry to the clinic and for the duration of the appointment.
  • Our Physiotherapists will be in PPE including masks and goggles/face shield.
  • Extra vigilant disinfecting of surfaces between consultations will be maintained.

If a client is unvaccinated/chooses not to disclose their vaccination status the following is required.

  • Confirmation of a negative covid test up to 48 hours before attending an appointment.
  • Patients arriving are to call from their car to let reception know that they have arrived. We will make sure your treatment room is ready so that you can go straight into a treatment room on arrival.
  • Patients will need to wear masks on entry to the clinic and for the duration of the appointment.

As restrictions ease and vaccination rates increase these procedures will be reviewed and adjusted accordingly. In the meantime, we really appreciate your cooperation in keeping our community safe and healthy.

Please do not attend the clinic if …

  • Unwell or presenting with Covid-19 symptoms
  • Quarantining or awaiting test results for Covid-19
  • Have been in close contact with a confirmed case of Covid-19
  • Have visited the contact tracing locations as listed on the QLD Health website
